FAQ
What do we look for in a teammate?
We’re proud of how innovative our company is, so we’re looking for people who are excited about that too. We want to work with people who are dynamic and have a fresh approach to getting things done. We’re always trying to make travel better for our customers, so hopefully a new teammate would be very customer focused as well. We help each other, run projects as a team, and bounce ideas off each other. We’d love to work with someone who’s ready to jump in and tackle things together. And lastly, one of the ways we stay innovative is by always learning and developing new skills. We’d be happy to have a teammate who enjoys learning and wants to grow with us.
Is it ok to work remotely?
We’re on a hybrid schedule where we work from home two days a week. We also offer flex work options. You’ll find more information in our Global Benefits section.
How to best prepare for an interview?
- The first step is to do a deep dive on SITA. Both you and the folks who interview you should be sure you’re excited about what we do and the industry we work in, so have a good look around our website, social media, and YouTube to really get a good understanding of the life you might be stepping in to.
- Get ready to tell us about where you’ve been working up to now. We want to understand how your skills and experience make you the right person for this role. Start by building a bridge between your skills / experience and the problems we want to solve with this role.
- We like to ask plenty of open-ended / behavioral questions like “Tell me about a time when...” or “When was the last time you...”. Be ready to tell us a story in your answer. We want to hear real-life examples of how you’ve done things in the past so we can see if your way of working will bring value to this specific role. (Pro tip: The key to what we’re looking for is in the job description. Prepare your stories to show how you’ve managed each of the responsibilities we mention there.)
