Life at Sita

The way we see it, culture is dynamic, evolving, and agile. So when we talk about the SITA experience, we’re thinking of the future! That’s why we’re always evolving and improving. We like to push ourselves to find better ways of doing things. Smarter. Quicker. Easier, for us, our customers, and for their customers too.

Hi, I'm Jia Min, a six-year veteran at SITA. I started as a Sales Support Executive, and now I’m now an Account Manager, overseeing accounts in Singapore. In my role I help build relationships between SITA and our customers. I step up for our customers within our internal teams. The collaborative atmosphere at SITA is what drives our shared goal of putting customer interests first.

I joined SITA through a referral. What caught my attention first was its major role in air travel technology. Then once I started, I found these great cross-functional mentorship programs that really helped me get a broader understanding of the industry. I love that my manager encourages us to be creative and helps me tackle hurdles in my career development journey.

It's such an exciting company to be a part of because there's so much teamwork across the whole organization. You get to work with people from all over the globe and it really gives you a unique perspective on the aviation industry.

For anyone who loves a good challenge, this place is perfect. It's all about embracing challenges, learning from mistakes, and always keeping the customer front and center. Plus, acting as a bridge between the customers and different teams is pretty rewarding.

I'm Rahul, and I've been a Sales Operation Analyst at SITA for about a year and a half now, focusing on APAC Sales Operations. My main responsibilities? Managing the Sales Incentive Program to make sure everyone gets their commissions and bonuses spot on.

The thing I like most about working here is the vibe. The culture is all about collaboration and support. Even when we have different ideas, we're all on the same page when it comes to putting the customer first. My manager loves it when I think outside the box and that helps me grow both personally and professionally. Our work environment is top-notch. There's so much cross-functional collaboration and global interaction—it keeps things interesting. If I had to give some advice for anyone stepping into Sales Operations here, it'd be this: Embrace the new stuff, and build strong relationships within the Sales community. Trust me, it's the secret to success around here.

Hi, I’m Carlos. I 'm a Project Manager leading Airport Technology & Infrastructure Lifecycle (ATIL) at SITA. I joined the team as a Delivery Specialist. I became a Technical PM in 2018, and since 2023 I’ve been leading ATIL projects, managing WIN10 migration and overseeing projects in the Americas. I handle the project lifecycle from start to finish, so I have a lot of opportunities to make an impact here.

It’s great working in the travel and transport industry, and I also love the feeling I get here. Because we use a flexible, hybrid model, I’m able to find more time to be active outdoors and be with my family, which is great. The health benefits really help me, and then there’s the VIVA program where we get paid leave to volunteer and help others in need. What I like most about working here though is that through every move I’ve made, I’ve felt really supported in my career growth.

The things I value most from my 8 years here are all the great friendships and the global opportunities. Right now, I’m working towards becoming a Senior PM.

For anyone interested in joining our team, I recommend embracing challenges and learning new things. With our diverse, dynamic team, you’ll find lots of opportunities to grow.

Hi, I'm Fevan. I've been with SITA for over 2.5 years now, starting out as a project management graduate and now working as a product specialist. My main role involves diving deep into product and financial data, with a big focus on data visualization and problem-solving.

My journey here started back in my last year of university when I applied straight for their graduate scheme. What drew me in was the super well-structured program they had, with clear career paths and opportunities to rotate between departments. It was a no-brainer for me.

During my time here, I've really added to my skills, especially in Data Analyst Power BI, and I'm even diving into a Data Science Course now. SITA's all about recognizing your efforts too, with things like Bravo awards and Kudos cards, which really make you feel valued.

But it's not just about the skills and certs here. SITA's got a great vibe. It's a warm and diverse community that just makes you feel at home. Plus, I've had some fantastic projects like Borders Growth Plan and Revenue Assurance where I've really sharpened my problem-solving and attention to detail skills.

Honestly, if you're looking for a workplace that's all about giving you responsibilities, chances to lead projects, and unwavering support for your growth, SITA's where it's at. It's been a heck of a ride here, and I couldn't recommend it more.

I'm Madhumita, the Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) manager over at SITA. I make sure our transactions go smoothly and we're not taking any unnecessary risks. It's been about two years now, and I've got to say, SITA's been a great place to work. It works well with my goal of eventually becoming a corporate lawyer.

My role really impacts SITA because contracts are the backbone of any business. It's nice to feel appreciated too. I just got some recognition for wrapping up a project recently, which always boosts the morale.

But beyond that, what I really love about SITA is the atmosphere. The teams here are so warm and collaborative. And they take care of us too, with corporate benefits like health insurance, wellbeing support, and flex-work. I feel really comfortable here.

And it's not just about the work. SITA offers this diverse, cross-cultural experience, which is cool. Plus, there are loads of opportunities for growth. For example, we've got this hybrid working setup now, and they're flexible about where you can work. It's great.

Looking ahead, I'm really excited about diving into more learning and development. And who knows, maybe I'll even get to manage a small team next year. SITA's just got this vibe that's all about helping you grow both professionally and personally. It's pretty special.

Hi, I'm Charlaine Balonsay, a Business Analyst at SITA for the last 3 years. I manage the delivery of our applications. A key part of my role is helping customers integrate applications with their ground systems. I also handle deployments and training.

I used to work in avionics and data link engineering, I joined SITA for the career opportunities after finding an interesting role on LinkedIn. Our products are dynamic and although our team is global, we’re really close-knit. The support I get from my colleagues worldwide really makes my work more enjoyable.

After supporting APAC customers, I took on a new challenge, moving to Canada for the AMER market. This was a great chance to step out of my comfort zone and really expand my learning. Dealing with the complexity and diversity of application setups definitely keeps me on my toes, but I find it really rewarding. Being in SITA's global environment means I get to work with people from all walks of life, which can make my day to day very interesting.

For anyone interested in joining the Application Operations Team, my advice is to be flexible, adaptable, and open to learning new things. Never hesitate to explore new things.
